0.1.2
September 2026 · Debian 13 · OSX-REIMS 0.4.1
- OSX-REIMS updated to version 0.4.1: new VMs get the EFI with OpenCore 1.0.8, VirtualSMC 1.3.8, and AppleALC 1.9.8. Existing VMs keep their own EFI.
- The system itself has not changed from 0.1.1.
0.1.1
September 2026 · Debian 13 · OSX-REIMS 0.4.0
- First setup: the driver plan is shown before confirmation; validation that distinguishes a real GPU from software rendering; one automatic restart when the GPU needs to read its firmware; each GPU validated separately on computers with more than one.
- Intel GPUs: fix for integrated graphics firmware (tested with UHD 770).
- Hardware: hardware information is updated on every boot, so moving the monitor to another GPU takes effect from the next boot.
- Startup: loading screen with vGPU OS branding; hidden boot menu, with a rescue console and automatic return after a failed boot; boot no longer waits for the network on cards with multiple ports.
- Session: restart and shut down the computer from the session menu; Ctrl+Alt+F2 opens a text login screen.
- Installer:
ERASEconfirmation accepts uppercase and lowercase. - Access: SSH enabled by default; the user is now called
vgpu-user; administration tools included (vim, htop, atop, nmon, iperf). - Security: fixed permissions on system files.
- OSX-REIMS 0.4.0: GPU and video memory selection per VM, and rebuilding Reims vGPU from scratch.
0.1.0
September 2026 · Debian 13 · OSX-REIMS 0.4.0
- First image: installer, first setup with hardware and driver detection, dedicated session with the OSX-REIMS console, and diagnostics.
